Shirley High School students at the Lee Valley White Water Centre
Students from Shirley High School took to the rapids this week.
Pupils went to the Lee Valley White Water Centre, a London 2012 Olympic venue, on July 8 and 9.
The school was representing Croydon during the third annual schools festival organised by the Lee Valley Regional Park Authority.
Canoe Slalom gold medallist Tim Baillie said: "The memories of the London 2012 Games will never leave us and it’s great to see so many young people coming to Lee Valley White Water Centre and taking to the same water where we achieved our win."
