A bulldog owner, whose pet attacked an elderly woman and her two dogs twice in two weeks, has been given a suspended prison sentence.

Anne Loring was walking her two King Charles cavalier dogs, Alfie and Cassey, along Nigel Fisher Way in Chessington on October 26, 2011, when the attack happened.

Dominique Daly, 48, did nothing when his American bulldog Bullseye charged at Mrs Loring, leaving her with a dislocated shoulder and a broken arm.

Thirteen days before, Bullseye had attacked the family for the first time in Sir Francis Barker recreation ground – leaving Mrs Loring with bruises on her hands and Alfie in need of stitches.

Daly, of Orchid Close, Chessington, had admitted two counts of being the owner of a dangerous dog in a public place but had denied his dog had caused any injuries.

But, following a trial in Mya, he was found guilty.

Daly was sentenced to 36 weeks in prison suspended for 18 months at Kingston Crown Court on Monday, July 8.

Bullseye was seized by police after the attack.
