A teenager staged an action-packed day of fun at his school to raise more than £2,000 for the nursing home that cared for his dying granddad.
Ted Williams, 16, of Selsdon, served up live music, Irish dancing, raffles, food and drinks in John Fisher School's playing fields.
The money raised will go to Heavers Court dementia care centre, where his granddad Albert Mackey, 75, spent six months before dying of Alzheimer's disease in 2011.
Ted, of Birdwood Close, said: "Everyone who attended had a fantastic time.
"They keep asking me if I will do it again next year and I am already in the process of organising next year's event!"
He was inspired to help the home after doing work experience there last year. He hopes to hold a music festival to raise more funds next summer.
