Hedge fire spreads to car and trailer in Purley
A hedge fire spread to a car and trailer in Purley last night.
Firefighters were called to Plough Lane at 9pm yesterday, after the occupants of a property reported their hedge was on fire.
The crew from Purley fire station attended and put out the blaze, which left the car and trailer damaged.
Police were also called to the scene after the residents reported seeing two youths acting suspiciously.
Officers are investigating.
