As the summer holidays get into full swing it might be parents who feel like they need pampering, but one hairdressers is offering a pampering day for kids.
Carly O’Connor who runs a hair salon in Selsdon, Croydon, and is putting on a special day just for kids.
She says: "We are giving free consultations and showing children various styles they could do at home.
"We are also offering advice on what products to use. Soft drinks and lollipops will be available as well."
"Styles for girls at the moment are classical buns and curls. Boys are just as interested in the latest styles again classic very neat side partings and swept back."
"Our top tips for styling at home are especially for girls always use a leave in conditioner as most contain SPF which of course protects against sun damage. Also have regular trims."
