The widow of a former Croydon electrician who died from an asbestos-related disease is appealing for former work colleagues to help with a legal claim.
James Harris worked for the Expanded Rubber Company in Mitcham Road between 1957 and 1962.
He worked there as an apprentice electrician and was exposed to asbestos on boilers and electrical equipment.
Brigitte Chandler of solicitors, Charles Lucas & Marshall, is anxious to speak to colleagues of Mr Harris and anyone who worked at the factory during the 1950s and 1960s.
Anyone who may be able to help should contact Ms Chandler on 01793 511055.
