A teenager was told to “get a job” after pleading guilty to drug possession.

Oliver Stonehouse, 19, of Broad Street, Teddington, admitted carrying cannabis after being caught in Richmond on August 2.

He was fined £100 and given a conditional discharge for 18 months.

Magistrate Oliver Hayward told the unemployed Stonehouse: “I’m not going to nag but you’re 19. It’s time you got a job isn’t it?”
