Man dies after Croydon town centre balcony fall
A 35-year-old man died after falling from a balcony in the town centre.
Police and London Ambulance were called to Drummond Road, Croydon, at 12.45am on Friday, August 2, to reports a man had fallen.
A single responder in a car, a duty officer and the medical team from London's Air Ambulance in a car attended and a 35-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene.
The man has been identified as Yang Weng Chow, from Croydon.
An inquest into Mr Chow's death was opened and adjourned at Croydon Coroner's Court on August 5, and will resume at a later date.
A police spokesman confirmed the death is being treated as non-suspicious.
