Crystal Palace have completed the signing of defender Jack Hunt from Huddersfield Town.

The 22-year-old has signed a four year deal for an undisclosed fee having been at the Terriers since he was nine years old.

Hunt was present at Crystal Palace’s win over Sunderland on Saturday and tweeted after the match his delight at signing for the Eagles.

He said: “Absolutely delighted to have signed for Crystal Palace. New challenge in my life and can't wait to get started.

“Been at the game today and thought the lads were different class. Great result and the fans were unreal. The place was bouncing."

The other signing confirmed at the weekend was Reading winger Jimmy Kebe on a three year contract for an undisclosed free.

The 29-year-old said: “It's a big move for me, I didn't know if I was going to be able to move in this transfer window but getting back to the Premier League was my main target.

“I'm very excited about it.”

It means Ian Holloway has brought in 12 players so far this summer with more expected to arrive today.
