Crystal Palace picked up their first points of the new Premier League season thanks to their 3-1 win over Sunderland at Selhurst Park on Saturday.

Danny Gabbidon’s deflection, Dwight Gayle from the spot and a peach from Stuart O’Keefe sealed the points against the Black Cats.

The weekend also saw Ian Holloway pick up winger Jimmy Kebe from Reading for a reported £2m, and full-back Jack Hunt from Huddersfield Town.

Palace have bought 11 new players since winning promotion in May, but Holloway has hinted at up to five more players will be signed today before the transfer deadline tonight.
