Does anyone agree with me that the charities should liaise and agree a rota for delivery of collection bags through our letter boxes?
A couple of weeks ago I had three bags through my door on one day and another two later that week all from different charities, some of which I had never heard of.
It’s a waste of time and money and I have only occasionally filled a bag for a charity which I support.
One childrens’ charity in particular delivers a bag each week. I use the bags as bin liners or for storage of linen and cushions for garden furniture.
Also on the subject of other unsolicited items, pizza, indian and chinese takeaway leaflets always go straight into recycling without being read as I can make my own or get a meal for less in my supermarket.
