A 16-year-old got a birthday present to remember this year after she was asked to interview an X-Factor finalist.
Cynthia Mosengo, a student at Ursuline High, was invited to interview Amelia Lily, who came third in the 2011 show, for youth magazine Limelight on her birthday. Miss Mosengo, of Gap Road in Wimbledon, said: "Being able to interview Amelia Lily on my birthday was definitely one of my favourite presents.
"It was very surreal and I was delighted to talk to such an inspirational person.
"I am so glad Limelight gave me the chance to do so."
Limelight magazine was founded by Adeline Iziren, a former careers and education journalist for The Guardian, to help build young people’s confidence and help them develop skills for the world of work.
