The leasehold for the old Ashburton Library is up for tender
The newly formed Friends of Ashburton Park are to hold their first public meeting next week.
The meeting will take place in front of the old Library at 6.30pm on Wednesday, September 11.
Residents will be able to share their views on the sale of the building and those attending will also be able to discuss ideas on what they think the building should be used for and how the park can become a community focus.
The meeting is open to all.
