A man who lost his son to a rare illness last year is cycling 50 miles for charity.
Kevin West, of Mulgrave Road, Sutton, has teamed up with nine of his drinking buddies from the Old Bank to take on the challenge for The Shooting Stars Chase Hospice.
PR mogul Max Clifford, a keen supporter of the hospice, has even provided two of the team with bikes.
Nine-month-old Taylor West died after being diagnosed with Type 1 SMA.
Mr West said: "The hospice needs £10,000 a year to operate, and the staff were so good to us, we want to help any way we can.
"It is mine and my sister's mission to raise as much money as possible for the Hospice to try and pay back the money that was needed for Taylor's care."
