The deputy mayor of Elmbridge Councillor Barry Fairbank cut the ribbon to opening the new Morrisons store in Walton.
The convenience store, at the former Blockbuster video site on New Zealand Avenue, opened on Thursday, October 3, and has created 20 new jobs in the town.
Penny Holden, assistant manager of the store, said staff were looking forward to getting to know customers and being part of the community.
Five jobs at the store are still available. To apply, visit mlocaljobs.com.
