A man who died after being hit by a car in Coulsdon has been named as Robert Prescott.

Mr Prescott was struck by a silver Ford Fiesta in Coulsdon Road, just after 8pm on Tuesday, October 8.

The 38-year-old who lived in Coulsdon, was taken to St George's Hospital in Tooting, but died soon afterwards.

The driver of the car stopped at the scene and was not arrested.
