Men to appear in court after being stopped outside petrol station
Two men are to appear in court after being stopped by police outside a BP petrol station at the weekend.
Police officers on patrol in the area stopped a vehicle on the forecourt of the petrol station, in Dorking Road, Epsom, at 8pm on Saturday, October 12.
On Monday, October 14, Robert Joseph Sullivan, 31, of Rotherhithe New Road, London, and Marc Ashley Rowe, 32, from Gunnell Close, in Croydon, were charged with going equipped to steal and unlawful possession of an offensive weapon.
They have been remanded in custody and will appear at Guildford Crown Court on November 1.
