The Mayor of Croydon opened a care services' new office yesterday.
Councillor Yvette Hopley joined staff at Bluebird Care Croydon, which provides care at home and live-in care to residents across the borough.
The official ribbon cutting at the new office in Brighton Road, South Croydon, was followed by a performance by local singer songwriter Hannah Rodgers, who performed her new single.
A cake was also cut at the event, which coincided with the care service's fourth anniversary.
Director Dean Slade said: "We started in 2009 with a small 2 person office, and three care workers, this has now grown to an office team of 5 plus 50 care workers providing care for over 100 local customers.
"I am proud of the excellent service we provide, and I know we are making a real difference to people’s lives."
