Horse power reigned after Teddington's Park Lane Stables joined forces with Old Farm Stables of Hampton this week.

The two stables have gone into partnership and Park Lane's founder and manager Natalie O'Rourke said she is delighted to have a second location.

She said: "This will allow us to expand and offer riders an even wider range of riding facilities. Linda Johns' Old Farm Stables has a large illuminated riding arena and bigger block for the horses.

"It also means that we will be able to offer more to those with special needs.

"The large arena means that we can now offer riders a wide range experiences such as show ring jumping and dressage."

The news comes at the same time experienced instructor Steve Banting has agreed to take over as senior instructor at Old Farm.

Linda Johns, owner of Old Farm Stables said: "I'm delighted to be teaming up with Natalie and for us both to be able to expand our businesses."
