Police are asking people to be vigilant as attacks on allotment sheds continue to hound the borough.
Allotments off Stanley Road were broken into on Tuesday, October 22, between 6:45pm and 10:30pm.
Thieves used bolt cutters to gain entry to the gates and stole gardening tools and £35 cash from two sheds and a small shop in a hut.
Between Sunday, October 20, and Wednesday, October 23, five cans of multi-purpose disinfectant were stolen after a shed and trading hut were broken into at allotments off Bute Road, Wallington. The thieves cut a hole in the roof of the shed to gain access.
A suspect was seen on the roof of a shed in Bute Road on Wednesday, October 23, at 5pm but fled after a resident shouted at them. They were wearing a black top and a white motor cycle helmet.
In Demense Road, Wallington, an allotment shed was broken into overnight on Tuesday, October 22 after its door had been forced. There are no details of anything taken.
Last week between October 14 and 15, intruders at allotments in Chaucer Gardens, Sutton, left a trail of damage.
