Four people have appeared in court charged with plotting to rob and kidnap one of the Queen's silversmiths.
Mark Reid, who owns Gordon Marks in Cobham High Street, was at his Ockham home on October 14 last year when a group of men broke in to his house.
Prosecutor Moses Koroma told North Surrey Magistrates' Court on Wednesday, October 23 that on the night of the two incidents, a firearm and ammunition belonging to Mr Reid was stolen from his house and has never been recovered.
Damon Denham, 26, of Kingsbury Drive, Old Windsor, Stephen Evers, 42, of Burns Avenue, Feltham, Eugene Gunderman, 26, of Queens Close, Old Windsor and Danielle Church, 21, of The Gower, Egham, are each charged with conspiring to rob Mr Reid on October 14 and conspiring to kidnap a person on the same date.
All four defendants are on conditional bail and must not contact Mr Reid directly or indirectly.
They were banned from going to Cobham except to travel past it on the M25.
But they were told they could not stop on the M25 unless it was an emergency.
The four defendants will next appear at Guildford Crown Court for a preliminary hearing on November 8.
