A charity is on the lookout for as many santas as possible to ditch their sleighs and run for fun next month.

SeeAbility, based in East Street, Epsom, helps those who are blind or partially sighted and disabled to achieve their potential and enhance their quality of life.

To raise money this Christmas, the charity is calling on anybody who is game for a laugh and has a love of costumes, to sign up for the Santa Fun Run, in Victoria Park, London, on December 8.

Participants can run, jog, walk or skip 5k or 10k and children above eight and dogs are welcome too.

Free costumes will be provided by SeeAbility for all runners, although dogs will need to supply their own.

You can join in the fun with a small registration fee and by raising the minimum sponsorship of £100.

For more information call 01372 755041 or email s.askaroff@seeability.org.
