The nation’s favourite bear paid a visit to East Croydon station on Sunday.

Pudsey was in town ahead of Children in Need this week to show residents how to use the special ATM cash machines which allows you to donate to the charity.

There are more than 3,100 special Bank Machine ATMs across the country.

BBC Children in Need supports thousands of charities including a Croydon charity Fresh Visions People who help children affected by domestic violence through play therapy.

This enables these children to increase their self-confidence, improve social skills and develop conflict resolution skills.

David Ramsden, Chief Executive of BBC Children in Need said: “We are so pleased that Bank Machine are providing another way of helping us to raise money that will make a difference to young lives right across the UK.”

BBC Children in Need takes place on Friday 15 November on BBC One at 7pm.
