A biker suffered leg and ankle injuries after being hit by a car.
Police, ambulance and fire crews were called to the accident in Orlando Road, Clapham, at about 10.45pm last night.
The man, believed to be in his 30s, fell off the scooter after colliding with a silver Volvo estate car.
Ambulance crews treated the man at the scene before he was taken to St Thomas' Hospital.
Firefighters were called after the accident to clear up leaked oil from the damaged motorcycle.
Beverley Morrison, of Clapham, said: "It looks like the scooter rider was flipped right off his vehicle.
"He was lying on his back, awake and in pain."
