Crystal Palace may have only one win to their name this season but off the pitch there has been some success.

The Crystal Palace Programme has been named the Premier League Programme of the Year award from the Midlands Programme Club.

They were given the prestigious award for their editions from the Tottenham and Sunderland home games.

Palace’s communication teams includes the long serving Terry Byfield, Jonathon Rogers and new recruit Luke Tugby who is the programme editor.

The club’s graphic design team Robert Deacon and Oliver Heard were also praised for their work.

Luke Tugby said: “We’re all pleased to pick up this award so early in the season. It is testament to the hours of hard work put in by all of our contributors and designers, which started back in the summer to revamp the programme ready for the Premier League. It’s nice to know that work hasn’t gone unnoticed by our readers.

“We’ve received plenty of positive feedback from fans and visiting journalists already this season, so we hope this is a sign of things to come in terms of more awards later in the year.”
