A festival with diversity at its core took place at Brooklands College.
Staff and students at both of the college’s campuses, in Weybridge and Ashford, took part in a range of activities which focused on an area of diversity.
From meditation sessions and martial arts demonstrations to deaf awareness training sessions and talks about immigration, a wide range of topics were presented.
Hundreds of people got involved in the festival, either by participating in activities, taking a photograph to represent diversity or by writing a story or poem about being part of a diverse college.
Gill Hopkins, festival organiser, said: “Brooklands College was the first GFE Surrey college to be awarded Investor in Diversity status and I think the week has demonstrated how inclusive the college already is but also shows we are always ready to learn and change.”
