Festive fun for four-year-olds and under is coming to Crystal Palace next week thanks to an online community for mums and dads.

Crystal Palace Mums (CP Mums) are bringing their Winter Wonderland Party 2013 to Twenty-Five bar, on Westow Hill, on December 6.

Entertainment at the event will be provided by Hatchlings, Sing & Sign, MiniMagic and many more, along with Santa and a sack full of raffle prizes.

Proceeds from each £2 raffle ticket will go towards CP Mums’ goal of raising £1,300 for Upper Norwood Joint Library, on Westow Hill.

The library needs the money to pay for new equipment and facilities in the library, such as interactive story stacks and a refurbished bathroom with a changing table.

Robert Gibson, Upper Norwood Library Trust Co-Chair, said: “We have been delighted how Crystal Palace has rallied round to support the library and are particularly appreciative of the on-going support from CP Mums – who play such a central role at the heart of our community.”

Suzie Cook, founder of CP Mums, gave thanks to those who have helped in organising the event.

Ms Cook said: “We would particularly like to thank the main sponsors for this event - Pedder, Streets Ahead and Gymboree. The generosity is amazing.

“Additionally, we are extremely grateful, and thankful, for the fantastic entertainment and raffle prizes donated by local businesses. Community spirit is alive and full bodied in Crystal Palace.”
