In their third column, Croydon band Rough Copy talk about finding themselves in the bottom two against their "lil sis" Hannah Barrett, performing in tonight's show and offer tips to aspiring artists.

Hi Croydon So we are still here.

Thank you all as ever for your votes but as you can see no one is safe in the competition and no matter how much you may like us if you don't vote we go home, it's as simple as that.

So last weekend we sang don't let go by En Vogue we were really excited to see that by Monday the original track had reached #1 in the iTunes download charts and even more excited to hear that En Vogue themselves had heard our version and enjoyed it too!

We are now well into the week and its strange because for the first time we are here without our lil sis, the Queen B Miss Hannah Barratt.

We love her so much that the sing off became and one of the emotionally hardest things that we have ever had to do; we can agree though that she sang amazing and its a true testament to the incredible future she is going to have that none of the judges wanted to vote her off.

Anyways we will be having fun together again soon since we all received the amazing news last week that we will both be on the X Factor tour, make sure you get your tickets to see how we really party on stage (lol)

This week you all had an opportunity to choose which song you wanted to hear us sing next week, well, the vote is in and we are busy practising your song.

One thing we would like to say to any aspiring artist who may consider entering a talent show such as the X Factor, be ready to work like you have never worked before, the work ethic is unbelievable and the expectation for you to be able to cope with it is also there.

It definitely creates a new sense of focus and discipline that we will absolutely continue once the show is over.

So Croydon, it's back to the drawing board for us, we need to keep rehearsing and practicing, remember we are a "Rough Copy" x
