A Crystal Palace fans' podcast has released an album of Christmas parody songs.

The Five Year Plan Podcast has been running since 2008 with the editors of the popular fanzine Jim Daly and Andy Street hosting weekly Eagles themed chat.

They have been joined more recently by regular guests comedian Kevin Day and music legend James Endeacott.

Daly, a musical comedian from Streatham, has regularly written parody songs of famous tunes re-written depending on what's happening at the club, and each Christmas has penned festive tunes.

Now, the podcast have released their first album, of every Christmas song they have produced in the last few years - with an extra new offering for this year's festive period.

Song's parodied include Wham's Last Christmas, Fairytale of New York by the Pogues and this year Christmas Baby Please Come Home, amended to Palace Please Stay Up in a plea for the Eagles to stay in the Premier League.

Jim Daly, 29, who regularly performs stand-up across London said: “I love writing parody and comedy songs.

“Some people say I have too much time on my hands and they are absolutely right. We hope everyone enjoys the album of Christmas songs and appreciates they are just a bit of fun for Palace's long suffering fans."
