Stars of the Fairfield Halls pantomime have backed Marie Curie Cancer Care's Christmas appeal.

The case of Peter Pan including Eastenders star Steve McFadden, Quinn Patrick and Kelly Chinery, have urged supporters to raise vital funds for the charity.

This Christmas hundred of Marie Curie nurses will sacrifice their family Christmas to care for people with terminal illnesses, to ensure they can spend it surrounded by their loved ones at home.

Every £20 raised provides one hour of nursing care at no cost to the patient or their family.

It might have been better to pay Marie Curie the huge fee that is being paid to Steve McFadden and have his part played by someone local for a normal wage.
