The ongoing row over changes to firefighters pensions' will continue into 2014 after the Fire Brigades Union (FBU) announced three further strike dates.
The FBU has announced strikes on Christmas Eve (7pm until midnight); New Year's Eve (6.30pm until 12.30am) and Friday, January 3 (6.30am until 8.30am).
These will be the seventh, eighth and ninth FBU strikes since September.
The LFB's commissioner, Ron Dobson, said: “As with the previous six strikes we will once again be putting our contingency arrangements in place.
“I very much hope that the government and FBU are able to resolve this dispute soon in order that the Brigade can return to business as usual.”
As in previous strikes the LFB will have 27 fire engines on standby and contingency crews will deal with emergencies across London.
Firefighters will still attend serious fires, explosions, vehicle fires, fires at railway stations or tunnels, road traffic collisions and collapsed structures.
But during the strike they may not be able to attend rubbish fires, animal rescues, people shut in lifts, nor flooding.
