An appearance by former chief UK drug advisor Professor David Nutt in Kingston has been cancelled.
The ex-head of the Advisory Council on the Misuse of Drugs was due to speak at the January 28 meeting of Cafe Scientifique, which is held on the last Tuesday of at Woody’s in Kingston.
The next meeting will now take place in February, with details to be released nearer the time.
Mark Preece, from Kingston University, who organises Cafe Scientifique, said he hoped Prof Nutt's talk could be rescheduled for later in the year.
