An architecture student melted down aluminium cans in a furnace while making unusual ornaments at the weekend.
Alex Sarafian, 24, from Shawley Way, Epsom Downs, poured molten aluminium into moulds and gave the finished objects away in the grounds of Holy Trinity Church in Tottenham.
Mr Sarafian, who is in his final year at London Metropolitan University's school of architecture, said: "It’s all about trying to get Tottenham interested in the process of a craft."
