@estateagent:

Annoyingly true. There are many many locals who want to see improvement, but our Council & MP have done so little. Over the past 8 years Youth Violence in Croydon has just got worse and worse.

Nonsense. Croydon has a lot going for it. We have lots of cafes, restaurants, cinema, theatre, concert hall and music of all types happening in many different venues. We have the wonderful online publication www.thecroydoncitize
n.com and incidentally, neither our MPs nor Mike Fisher are responsible for this recent spate of stabbing.

Other more upmarket areas have similar attractions without the gang warfare going on.... who would want to witness stabbings whilst out shopping or be a victim of crime attending the theatre?.... look; put it this way.... Boris would NOT go shopping in croydon or send his children to their schools...... the people of this area burnt down their own town and the rest of the countries tax payers paid for it to be repaired......
Truly awful place; you just would not want to admit you live in croydon; or more commonly known on some websites "crimedon"

So the MP's and Council are not responsible for Youth Provision & education?

I think you'll find they are. And bored kids will do daft things. Especially bored kids with no chance of getting a job.
