Three more youths have been arrested in connection with the stabbing of a 12-year-old boy outside a Tesco Express last week.
The boy was knifed in Whitehorse Road, Croydon, on Monday 20 January.
The three boys, one aged 14 and two aged 13, were yesterday arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm and last night were in police custody at a south London police station.
Two other boys aged 15-years-old were arrested on January 23 on suspicion of GBH and have both been bailed until a date in late March pending further enquiries.
Police believe three suspects approached the victim outside the store and went through his pockets.
An altercation is then thought to have taken place between the victim and suspects which resulted in the victim being stabbed.
The victim was taken to a south London hospital by paramedics but has since been released.
