The car was found alight in Selhurst
An electrical fault caused a car to catch fire in Selhurst last night.
Firefighters from Woodside fire station were called to Whitehorse Lane, close to Crystal Palace's Selhurst Park football stadium, at about 8pm on Saturday.
A Volkswagen Golf had caught alight, but the flames had already died down by the time fire crews arrived.
Nobody was injured and the owner of the car has been notified.
