Two youths accused of supplying the MDMA drug believed to have caused the death of Croydon teenager Daniel Spargo-Mabbs are set to stand trial.
Nicqueel Pitrora and Ryan Kirk, aged 20, both appeared at Isleworth Crown Court today charged with being concerned in the supply of class A drugs.
Eighteen-year-old Pitrora, of London Road, Croydon, is also charged with being in possession of cannabis.
Kirk, of Puffin Close, Beckenham, and Pitrora have both been remanded in custody with a provisional trial date set for July 14 at the same court.
Daniel, who was a pupil at Archbishop Tenison’s School, suffered three heart attacks after taking his part of 2.5 grams of MDMA bought in a drug deal.
He died in hospital on January 20, after slipping into a coma after taking the illegal drug at a warehouse rave in Hayes, west London, in the early hours of January 18.
