An acoustic roots and blues star will revive skiffle music for his audience.

Well-travelled young guitarist and banjo player Warren James is treating the town to a free-entry concert.

Audiences can expect music similar to that featured in George Clooney’s film Oh Brother, Where Art Thou? or the heart-wrenching work songs of Twelve Years a Slave.

James lives on the road – his 2011 tour clocking up 166 dates – walking the lesser trodden path and travelling from town to town to entertain audiences.

His high energy concerts and unique voice have taken him across Europe and to America, sharing the billing with some big names in music like Brian May and Joe Brown.
