A group of teenagers are appealing to shoppers to donate some of their unwanted goods to Croydon Foodbank.
The 16 and 17-year-olds from the Challenge Youth Board for Croydon and Sutton will be outside three supermarkets in the borough next Saturday, April 12, collecting items to give to the foodbank.
From 11am to 3pm, the group will be collecting from Morrisons in Beddington and Sainsbury's and Tesco Extra, both in Purley.
They will be collecting goods including including milk, tea, coffee, rice, pasta and tinned foods from generous shoppers.
