It is hardly any surprise to the inhabitants of Sutton that there are not enough places in our schools for the number of children now living in Sutton.
I became disabled 14 years ago so my trips to the High Street are very limited.
However with every passing year I have become acutely aware that there are now so many languages being spoken that it is quite rare to hear someone speaking English.
Noticeable too is the fact that most of the children are certainly not from Britain.
I realise that the problem of school places is a national one but surely the answer is not to fund more schools but to stop or curb severely the number of immigrants using our dwindling resources.
