Crystal Palace’s first team squad have donated thousands of pounds towards helping a young girl walk.

The Eagles squad donated £5,000 towards Scarlett Hewitt who is attempting to raise £65,000 to have a life changing operation in the USA.

Eight-year-old Scarlett was at the training ground yesterday where she met the first team and had photos taken with them.

Previously she has been a special mascot at the club and fans have rallied round to support her cause.

To donate go to Scarlett’s Just Giving donation page.

Very generous of the players but, come on the money they all earn and all they could put together was £5k.... if you are referring to just eleven players thats only £454.00 each they spend more than that on a night out.
if i was on their wages i would have given £5k plus out of my own pocket!!!
