Great British Bake Off star Paul Hollywood will get his bake on in Croydon, writes Andy Bloss.

Hollywood demonstrates recipes, reveals the secrets of being a TV chef and takes the audience on a journey through his life in baking.

The show will also see four audience members joining Paul on stage to try out some baking.

The audience will get a real insight into his life from the story of how his father persuaded him to ditch his path as a trained sculptor to join the family baking business to his time in one of the world’s most expensive hotels.

Audience members will also been given the opportunity to put their own questions to Paul in an open Q&A.

Hollywood says: "I really wanted to do something different. People have one image of me from The Great British Bake Off, as the stern judge who gives out criticism and I’ve got another image on shows like Pies or Puds which show the real me, which is basically a bit of a joker.

"So by going on a one man tour the public will get to see the cheekier side of my persona and learn a bit about my life."
