A teenage robber who threatened his victims at knifepoint during a crime spree is awaiting sentence.
Terrick Thompson started the string of robberies on January 16 when he, and two other suspects, stole a 39-year-old man’s wallet and phone after holding a kitchen knife to his torso.
Thompson, of Hythe Road, Thornton Heath, returned to the Streatham Hill station area with a teenage accomplice three days later and stole a 33-year-old man’s wallet and bank cards.
During the robbery at about 11pm that night, January 19, the victim was threatened with a knife, and he needed stitches after being stabbed in the leg.
About an hour later the two teenagers they threatened a 24-year-old man with knives and stole his phone and Oyster card.
And 20 minutes after this robbery they stole wallets and phones from two 21-year-old men after threatening them with knives.
Thompson, 18, and his 17-year-old accomplice, from West Norwood, were arrested on January 22 following a joint operation by police in Croydon and Lambeth.
The pair appeared at the Inner London Crown Court on May 27 and pleaded guilty to five counts of robbery and four possession of an offensive weapon charges.
They are both due to be sentenced at the same court on June 20.
