Labour have appointed cabinet members after taking control of Croydon Council in last month's election.
They were formally elected along with new mayor Coun Manju Shahul-Hameed in Tuesday's full council meeting.
Coun Stuart Collins will spearhead the bid to clean up the borough, one of Labour's key election promises, in the newly created role of cabinet member for Clean Green Croydon.
Coun Alison Butler, cabinet member for home and regeneration, and Coun Mark Watson, cabinet member for safety and justice, were also elected into newly created positions.
