Psychic canine Roy Dog-son has predicted a victory for England in their Thursday night game against Uruguay.

The four-legged football expert was lapping it up Saturday night, after he correctly guessed Italy would defeat England in their opening fixture.

Mr Dog-son, who lives at the Riverside Animal Centre in Beddington, made the unpatriotic forecast on Friday afternoon.

But this time around the mystic mutt is backing his home nation- insisting England will beat the Uruguayans by a lengthy margin.

The part-greyhound part-rhodesian ridgeback has said Jack Woof-shire will have his chances, but Ross Bark-ley will be man of the match.

Mr Dog-son also said his heart goes out to Kyle ‘Walkies’, who failed to secure a place in the World Cup squad.

The crystal-gazing canine proved his psychic abilities in the past when he guessed the Liberal Democrats would win the Sutton local elections.

Mr Dog-son, whose favourite food is rabbit in jelly, uses a unique method to make his forecast.

The pooch is presented with two bowls- one with an England flag, and another with the flag of the opposition.

He declares his prediction by eating from the relevant bowl.

Mr Dog-son will also make a forecast on the England vs Costa Rica match on Tuesday June 24.
