Tap-dancing TV presenter Lionel Blair charmed residents at a Purley care home during National Care Home Open Day.
The lovable entertainer was at Sunrise of Purley in Russell Hill Road on Friday, where about 50 guests joined the 118 residents for a barbecue and live music from big band singer Barry Stevens.
Not to be outdone, the evergreen Blair joined Stevens for a couple of numbers, before enjoying a dance with resident Freda Frost.

The care home's reminiscence coordinator Tammy Symonds said: "Lional Blair was a true gentleman.
He was really friendly and polite, and he had a little dance with some of the residents and got everyone to join in with a singalong.
"The weather was fantastic, we had about 50 guests join us for a barbecue and a good day was had by all."
