Police charged Jerone Lindo yesterday
A man has been charged by police after a hit-and-run crash left a pedestrian fighting for his life in hospital.
Jerone Lindo, 20, of Leafy Way, Croydon, is accused on causing serious injury by dangerous driving.
He was charged yesterday following the crash in Biseden Road, Addiscombe, at 6.15pm Wednesday.
The victim, 25, was treated for life-threatening injuries and is now in a stable condition.
The Metropolitan Police said the driver of the car failed to stop following the collision.
Mr Lindo was arrested on Saturday and will appear at Croydon Magistrates' Court at a later date.
