Cancer Research UK needs more Croydon women to sign up for Race for Life
Croydon is lagging behind other areas in terms of women signing up for Race for Life events, leading Cancer Research UK to issue an appeal for runners.
The cancer charity needs more women to sign up for the Croydon Race for Life, which takes place at Lloyd Park, Coombe Road, on July 13.
There is a 5km and a 10km option – both starting at 11am.
Race for Life spokeswoman Emma Hyatt said: “We need a formidable army of women to help kick cancer’s butt.”
