This is the moment a Croydon schoolteacher cut off his treasured locks of more than 16 years to raise money for charity.
Cameron Holmes, head of Science and ICT at Royal Russell Junior School, sat in front of a crowd of pupils as his hairdressing neighbour Monique Robeiro approached him with the shears.
His four-year-old daughter Chance helped apply shaving cream to his face before his beard was shaved and his long hair slashed - all in aid of the British Heart Foundation.
So far, the big cut has brought in an impressive £700.
