A female driver of an Audi was taken to hospital after being cut from her car by firefighters last night.
The driver, thought to be in her thirties, was involved in a two car collision in Kent Gate Way, New Addington at about 9.40pm.
The woman was treated for neck, back and chest pain by London Ambulance Service (LAS) crews and taken to hospital as a priority patient.
Firefighters cut the roof from her car and brought her safely out of the vehicle, which had collided with a second car on the junction of Kent Gate Way and Lodge Lane.
A male passenger in his twenties who is thought to be her husband was fine, according to a fire spokesperson.
He was taken to hospital as a precaution, a LAS spokeswoman said.
The driver of the second car was not injured and was being assessed by paramedics when firefighters arrived.
A total of 12 Firefighters from New Addington and Croydon stations attended the scene with Metropolitan police officers.
Emergency services were on the scene for just over an hour.
